Internal artwork for Bruxelles en Mouvements magazine
The special edition of the magazine, illustrated entirely by Fien Jorissen, explores the different accessibility experiences for Brussels’ residents depending on whether they are male or female, cognitive or physical handicaps, lower income or higher income, access and ability to use various digital applications and ultimately location within the city.
This artwork is about the lack of access to decent housing that leads to people being relegated to other areas with less commodities, public transport and jobs. The artwork uses the bridge as a device to contrast two experiences of living in the city
