George Wylesol is an award-winning illustrator and author from Baltimore. His work combines an interest in the everyday; still lives and vignettes of seemingly ordinary places that inspire a feeling of intrigue and drama or featuring recognisable emblems of modern life recontextualised.
His client include Adidas, Apple, Baffler, Billboard, Bloomberg Businessweek, Burberry, Chronicle Books, The Economist, The Folio Society, Google, GQ, Jacobin Magazine, Laurence King Publishing, London Museum, MIT Technology Review, The Paris Review, Penguin Random House and Pangaia. He illustrates a regular column in The New York Times and The Washington Post.
George has written four graphic novels which have been translated and published in multiple languages: ‘Ghosts Etc’, ‘Internet Crusader,’ ‘2120’, and ‘Curses’.
