“EMMA BOSELEY, NEUW MENSWEAR DESIGNER: ”
"We wanted to work with Jimmy because his work is very different to the art collaborations we had done prior. Jimmy’s use of collage and mixed media is something really unique that we gravitated to."
“Niomi Fairweather, Curator at the Baltic: ”
"We knew Fenwick were keen to create a new commission for this project with a local artist. It was an easy pitch as curator because Jimmy’s work can easily pull you in from just first glance. His studio is a stone’s throw away from Baltic, and its artists like Jimmy who continue to practice and champion the region that give pride and confidence to those more emerging artists that are looking to pave the way in the North East. We are eternally grateful to Jimmy for all his support on this project."
