To celebrate the reopening of its four venues, Museums Northumberland commissioned Jonny Hannah to create a county-wide exhibition celebrating some of Northumberland‘s strangest stories and most curious characters.

To engage with the local community Jonny set about busking, pub-quizzing and light-heartedly interrogating the people of the county of Northumberland. Producing a newspaper and running a workshop in HMP Northumberland, a local prison, has resulted in a rich and wonderfully eclectic take on Northumberland’s stories
