The applications of Lucinda’s work have been diverse, whether the work has been created on site or in the studio. She has been commissioned for permanent exhibitions at English Heritage sites, food packaging, book covers for Gayle Jones, and several cookery books including for Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall and Rowley Leigh. Her commissions have taken her backstage at the Globe Theatre, on site for The Association of British Ports, and behind the scenes at Kensington Palace.
Lucinda’s commissioned work runs alongside her personal work; location drawings in both London and New York where the cityscape is constantly shifting. Published in 2019, Lucinda’s book ‘New York’ brings together 30 years of drawings from 1988-2018.
Lucinda worked on location during the COP26 climate summit in Glasgow, her drawings were published in the Financial Times alongside their daily coverage of the event. She also created a picture essay about the impact of the Israel and Palestine conflict in New York, published by The New York Times.
